SHAKE SHACK
Photographed by NYC lifestyle photographer Jonathan Hanson, this campaign captures the vibrant, youthful energy of Shake Shack photographed in their flagship location in New York City’s Meatpacking District. Hanson’s approach centered on real connection, friends sharing burgers, laughter unfolding naturally, and the unmistakable feeling of being in a Shake Shack restaurant. The result is a modern photography campaign that celebrates connection over food—positioning Jonathan Hanson as a go-to lifestyle photographer for brands looking to create work that feels both elevated and real.

FANATICS GAME DAY
For photographer and director Jonathan Hanson, this collaboration with Fanatics was about capturing the authentic rhythm of game day. Featuring official gear from the Baltimore Orioles and Houston Astros, the project focuses on the moments that define sports culture beyond the stadium—anticipation, camaraderie, and the shared energy of being a fan. Shot on location in Baltimore, Hanson documented a group of friends as they made their way to a game, leaning into real interactions rather than staged scenes. Eschewing polished poses and overproduced setups, the photography centers on genuine connection and emotion, the unfiltered moments that make live sports feel personal. Through a lifestyle-driven approach, the work tells a deeper story about fandom, community, and the rituals that surround game day.

CROCS – PERMISSION TO CHILL
Best known for casual footwear, Crocs set out to connect with the passion and influence of college athletes by entering the cultural intersection of sport, fandom, and everyday style. For the launch of the Mellow Slides, the brand partnered with a new generation of professional athlete-creators who move fluidly between competition and culture. Directed by Jonathan Hanson, the campaign was built around social-first storytelling. Working with NBA standout Jared McCain and Olympic gold medalist gymnast Suni Lee, Hanson shaped a body of work that felt personal, dynamic, and grounded in how fans actually engage with athletes today. Through content shared across the athletes’ owned channels, the campaign invited audiences into the world of Crocs—expanding reach, driving interest, and introducing the Mellow Slides to new communities through genuine connection rather than traditional endorsement.
